Description – Often called ‘zebra stone,’ these exotic gemstones are natural onyx marble from Mexico. The beautiful patterns are the result of centuries of water seeping through cracks in the surface of the earth into caves below. Minerals carried in the water are deposited in the caves, creating onyx marble formations like stalagmites.
Style – PRINCESS – This necklace was designed specifically to fit within the ‘V’ of a blouse. It also looks wonderful with a crew neck style sweater or top. Approximately 3/4″ at its widest stone.
Signature Details – We carefully select each natural onyx marble stone then pair it with black obsidian rounds to highlight the amazing zebra-like patterns. We finish with our signature sterling silver clasp and extender chain.
Construction Details – A total of 49 natural gemstones complete this necklace. We start with nine 20x15mm flat ovals, then add sixteen 8mm round onyx marble stones. For accent, we add twenty-four 4mm round natural black obsidian stones. Each stone is then individually hand-strung onto 49-strand jewelry wire. Our signature sterling silver extender chain and clasp are added to create this stunning piece.
Fit – This necklace is approximately 18 inches long and extends up to 20″ long.
Care Instructions – As with any fine necklace, you should avoid getting it wet. Use a dry polishing cloth to keep the luster of the stones. Do not use steam or ultrasonic cleaners.
