Fossilized Charlevoix Coral Bracelet
Description – Capturing a snapshot of sea life nearly 400 million years ago, these Charlevoix stone beads are ancient fossilized coral. In warm cream and brown shades and paired with volcanic black obsidian, each bracelet showcases multiple fossil slices in each bead.
History – 250-400 million years ago, during the Devonian period, much of the state of Michigan was an ancient sea, containing a now-extinct form of coral. As the coral died off, it was covered with sediment on the sea floor. Later, glaciers would carve the landscape and create the Great Lakes where these fossilized coral can now be found.
Style – This design wears equally well for both men and women. Approximately 3/8″ wide, this bracelet looks stunning by itself or stacked with other bracelets.
Construction Details – Beautiful fossils paired with black obsidian beads are hand-strung on jewelers elastic cording for a perfect customized fit.
